SOLATORY was founded in 2018 by four creative peers:
Yuqian Zhang, Lauren Lu, Xi Zhou, and Marian Hao, who came from the same art collage. Since its inception, SOLATORY has operated as a motion picture studio, producing films, animations, commercials, and experimental works. After numerous festival-selected visual works, SOLATORY — now based in Hangzhou, China and New York City — continues to collaborate with filmmakers and artists worldwide.
